Anyone like to help out a wedding run in Devon on 24th Sept?
I am not local to this section but will be taking my scoob to Devon.
The location is Torquay in the afternoon of Saturday 24th September.
Ok, background first....
A friend of mine is getting married that day. I was asked ages ago to drive her and her father to the wedding venue in my scooby (Terzo). I was flattered.
She would still like me to drive her, but has also asked for me to drive her and her new hubby to the reception after and said my car will be in the photos.
(I don't feel my car is special enough to be the wedding car, complete with expected gold ribbon)
My friends hubby to be does not have a scooby to take him to the wedding, so some help here would be welcomed.
Something a little 'louder' looking than mine would be welcomed for the reception drive after too.
If anyone would like to offer their time for part of the afternoon I would be very grateful.
p.s. i am not looking forward to the fuel bill as I will be going from Northampton.
Does anyone know of a good carwash type place in the town (or will I be cleaning it at the hotel the day before?)
I am not telling the bride and groom about my secret plan.
Thank you for reading.
Nicola

No helpers?
Anyway, could someone please tell me where I can get the car washed in or near the town (as it must sparkle on Saturday)?
Doubt my wash bucket will fit in the hotel wash sink...lol

Hi Nicola,
I am in Bristol and mine isn't really that special enough for a wedding either.
I am surprised some of the lot further down South are not able to help out.
I will see if I can point them in this direction to see if any of them maybe able to help
BTW what sort of scoob were you looking at trying to get, colour etc?
Cheers
Tracey

Thanks for thinking of me Tracey.
Prefer a blue scoob, but any turbo will do.
I don't think the bride and groom would mind, they like scoobies (although neither owns one).

Hi i live in Paignton and work in Torquay and have a STI 8 blue PFF7s APS front mount 363 bhp etc, would love to help but am working all day.
But there is some good news, In Torquay there is a car wash station where they wash your car for you whilst you just watch. I will go for drive later and find out what it is called and the road name, soon as i find out will reply back.
