Bye Bye Dick Turpin!! Hello The Lodge (Country Inn) New ESC 3rd Thur Meet venue
Welcome to the New ESC/ SIDC New 3rd Thursday Meeting place!!
1ST MEET WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY 21ST APRIL & WILL THEN BE THE 3RD THURSDAY IN THE MONTH THEREAFTER !!
Well after bieng treated like ****e for the last 3 months @ The Dick turpin , I / We feel that it is time for us all to move on !!
The New venue will be
THE LODGE ( Country Inn )
Hayes Chase
Burnam Road
Nr Battlesbridge
Essex ( Scooby crew
)
SS11 7QT
This is 2 minutes from the Skoda Garage @ Rettendon .. & Easy to find
They have bent over backwards for me so far & Cannot be helpfull enough
We are also in good company as the MG Owners club , Mercedes Club & The Legondary Harley Davidson club all use this venue as there monthly meeting place
Now also hosting the Essex Sccoby Crew!!

Angela The Manageress has reserved the full restaurant just for us only , Half is set up for Dining if you wish , The other half is just tables & Chairs etc.. With it's own little hatch to the bar ..
This really is an exciting move , The summer meets really are going to be something else , With loads & Loads of outdoor seating , Tables & Benches , A Massive safe Kiddies play area , With Bouncy castle in the summer etc .. This really is a great place for us , The Kids & The now Legandary Esc Ladies as well !! .
2 Gravel car parks are for our use , The Mercedes car club also meet here on the same night ( 3Rd Thur) They only get about 15-20 Cars , So with us as well the place will be Buzzing
Most importantly !! FOOD !! Is stunning with HUGE Portions served @ Great vaule as well , Last orders for food @ 9pm tho please
Please Please Support this meet , It has taken a bit of sorting out , But im sure that it will be worthwhile !!
Most importantly we can say BYE BYE To the Dick turpin !! 3 Consecutive meets with glass scattered across the parking area , Attitude from the staff , & The sounding of the Fire alarm to get us to leave is just not on , I kow that i'am not alone either with these thoughts !!
I Have been up to the Lodge today , To take some pics , Our area , Parking etc , Will get posted up shortly .

The other half of our reserved area ( These tables can be cleared away etc..)
Small part of the outside seating area
Large kiddies play area , Soon to be re-opened
Large block paved parking area (80 0dd Cars No Glass !! )
Reserved parking here 1 gravel car park

so when we move is it EASYIER for me to go down PASSED the D.T come of at that Round about on to the duel carragie way, on to the mini by pass, of at that round about (skoda garage) or come off before the D.T & follow the A132??? to the sKoda garage??

I've been to the lodge also and its very nice. Much better than the dick turpin. The American car meets have also left them too!
Will definately have to start turning up to monthly meets.
