Default 4 Wheel laser alignment / Camber / Springs, Open Day @ ELITE ( Rainham Essex )

Ok Guy's a few of you were aware that i was visiting ELITE ( Rainham Essex) Today ..

I Had new Toyo's TI'S fitted & The Laser 4 wheel alignment & Camber adjustments made

Oh what an awesome mod this really is !!!

But now the Good bit ...................

ELITE Are prepared to open up for us on a Sunday ,Date TBC.. If i was to arrange to get enough scooby's to turn up for this mod , They have 4 no Laser wheel alignment ramps & Can call in as many technicians as we need , A few people have mentioned to me that they would be very interested in having this done , Also not a problem if you would like to have any suspension work on the day , Springs fitted , Then the alignment / Camber set after springs fitted is also not a problem

I Was very impressed by there very proffesoinal manner & Care that they took whilst working on my car this morning & Would reccomend them for this type of work ..

About the mod .. I'm not really to tech minded , But the car feels totally different to drive ( Planted / Firmer / Turn in feels stiffer more grippy , I Had the camber set to -1.25 Degree ( Prodrive settings) So should dial out a bit of the understeeer.

You will recieve a print out of your set up before any work is carried out & Then the guy's will talk you through the readings & Explain to you what needs to be done ,Also recieving another 2 printouts after the work has been carried out .

[b]Of course a discount of normal prices is what we are after & is not a problem either , But of course the more cars , That we can get there the cheaper it will be , It needs to be made worthwhile for Elite as well for opening on a Sunday .

If there is a enough interest then perhaps i can also get a stonechip / Dentman there on the same day if reqd

So please post your interest below ( Plz tho only if you are serious about attending ) & The mod/ s that you would like done , Laser alignment , camber , suspension etc ..

SUNDAY 20TH MARCH 2005

dal have u not had the prodrive geo setting on your car before then?

i've had it from the day i bought the RB5.

the only thing to note is that due to the extensive camber you will notice major wear to the insides of the tyres so keep an eye on them.

Elite are a great company and are hard to beat on tyre prices. I have always used them for tyres.

My camber has been -1.25 for 12k miles now and the tyres are fine.
This amount of camber will not affect the tyres in any noticable way.

Elite are a top outfit, had my last 4 cars aligned by them and they have always been very good. They are also very carefull fitting tyres and never damaged any of my wheels.

Exactly as i was told , Anymore negative then you may notice a bit more wear on the tyres But -1.25 Seems the way to go

Thanks Tiny, I'll keep them figures in mind.

Me? not driving hard enough? PAH!! well, I don't really like the idea of having Toyo's fitted then ripping them apart, hence having not done any track days, but when I get the new wheels, the old set will be for track days so you all better watch out

stick this in the Kent Scoobies section on SIDC , im sure there are a few of the guys that have already enquired about having this done.

Had mine done last year when i had new tyres....Best mod you can do for the money without a doubt..made the car totally different to drive, cornering became even more fun..lol

good luck with this...j-k

Big Boy. Depends on the state of play and if Elite would be up for it, I might nip home and bring the Pug back. Would I get an extra discount for two cars ?? If you don't ask you don't get

Great!!! This is something I've wanted to get sorted for sometime.

Tiny - any idea on dates yet?

To help things along a bit here is some more info on alignment......

....and here's the Elite's location. Looks ideal for Essex, Kent & East London peeps.
