WEEKEND IN NEW FOREST HOSTED BY EAST SUSSEX SCOOBIES
We are organising a weekend away at Sandy ***** Holiday Park in the New Forest, the dates will be from the 13 to the 16 of May 05
We are currently waiting for confermation from the site before we post up booking arangements.
There is a wide range of accomadation to suit all needs :-
Lodges 6' 4' 2' berth
caravan static 6' 4' berth
camping & caravan pitches
or b&b 1/2 mile up the road prices to follow soon.
There will be a varied choice of activities from, organised drives, bbq's, childrens activites & hopefully some thing for the ladies organised by my wife

Well...we're going....along with Subarman, Subargirl, Subaru Team Colours Man, the EastSussexScoobies Dance & Modelling Troop, Flight Sgt Cynthia Sharpley, Pilot Officer Krud Simpleton.....gonna need a big caravan for that lot.........

I don't think the site has more than a hundred accomodation units Iain - perhaps some of the ESC can sleep in their cars? Actually, I'm not sure there is enough parking !! I will chat to Tiny next saturday, if I can find him in the crowds!!!!!

the site prices are:-
LODGES 6 berth plus en suite £428, 6 berth £378, 4 berth £323, 2 berth 223,
STATIC CARVANs 6 berth £303, 4 berth £268, 4 berth £218 no 2 berth,
TOURING PITCHIES are £17 for hard pitch with electric, water & sky tv hook up.
indoor / out door swimming pool , itallan restarant plus takeaways spar shop [with deals on booze] its set in 120 acres of wood & parkland [conservation area!!!]
horse riding & bike hire.
i am still waiting to find out numbers i hope we get permition now i've said this.

OK PEOPLE I HAVE THE GO AHEAD IN WRITTING FROM THE SITE!!!!!!!!!
booking is to be done direct with the holiday site tel 01425 653042
the prices are further up this thread
as this site is very popular i cant get holding on anything, The site caravans & lodges are getting booked up so to avoid disapointment please book early as when thay are gone its a choice of touring pitch,
b&b which i am finding out about soon. the dates are 13th to 16th of may
the line up for the weekend is:-
FRIDAY NIGHT
Drinks and meal if people want at the holiday bar/restarant
SATURDAY
There will be a treasure hunt style drive organised for a good part of the day, and a bbq's in the evening "I guess scooby doo will be out to play" as well
SUNDAY
we are looking into local theme park prices for morning or you could just have a layin
SUNDAY afternoon
i am hopping to plan a joint meet with hampshire subaru as the site is concerned we might have to many guests.
SUNDAY EVENING if your still with us
Will be up the pub called [fighting *****] for food and drinks, good food, good menu & price, good laugh. THIS PUB WILL BE STARTING POINT FOR TREASURE HUNT.
MONDAY

Is there anybody still interested in this - accomodation options going fast - unless you want to camp. Camping pitches are pretty serious I am lead to believe. Electricity, water, parking etc - for each pitch ! That means you can plug in your electric heater - not like camping at all !!!!!

Surrey Scoobies are VERY welcome - my apologies. So are West Sussex Scoobies - I seem to have left them out as well !!!!!
Plenty of help now seems to be pouring in from Hants and West Sussex present and former organisers - so it looks like a great weekend is on offer.

BTTT, for what looks like will be a great weekend. Someone will have to just ensure that Keith isn't biased towards or discriminatory against Subaru owners from other areas!
It does look a first class weekend but i'm sorry to say that i'm not going to be able to make it, i've just found out someone else is already off that weekend at work.

waiting to hear from hampshire scoobies on whos going and will post up for them as thay tend to use own site. jen if you read this i stil havent receved any thing.
