The Cost is £150 IIRC
You will spend the day with 3 other drivers and Andy Walsh learning how your Scooby Handles and the limits of its abilities
Being an Airfield there is nothing to hit even if you do lose control [ and you will ]
Andy is an Ex Benneton Test Driver and Boy does he know his stuff
What you will learn on a day like this is invaluable

Went on one in the Summer - totally recommend it - more use than a track day as you are taught 1 to 1 what to do and what you are doing wrong, rather than doing it by trial and (lots of) error.
An exceptional day out.
Should be fun if damp :-D

Me and WR-Neo want to have a go at one of these but we were hoping to go a bit later in the year (spring time?) hoping for slightly better weather conditions!

Phil,
I expressed loads of interest at the Halfway House meet last month for this event, really want to do this, but will have to be later in the year, just been booked on a course in Staffordshire for 2 weeks (17th - 28th Jan 05).
Sorry mate

I have been on this too and it is absolutely fantastic, Andy will get in your car, you know, the one you are familiar with and NO-ONE could be quicker than you with. He'll then set a time on his first lap that you will NOT be able to beat.
I need a service, clutch, brake discs and pads and 4 new tyres between now and January AND xmas but still hope to be able to make this Phil. Can't commit until I know how badly the wife will react after all that expense <g>

Phil,
really interested in this, my mate at work has been nagging me to do it for a while now & I now have a spare set of wheels! Only problem is I may be away, need to speak to my brother.
Also is it Scoobs only or can I ask some (cough) M3 driving mates ?
At £150 for the day it's a bargain peeps, those other courses in the back of Evo mag are about £400-£500!
Cheers, John
