++/\/\CORNWALL/DEVON XMAS EVENING MEAL/\/\++
As the message says, we talked about it at our last meet, and its been a while since then! So better get the last meet of the year in.
Date: Saturday 11th December
Time: 8pm
Location: The old plough house, Duloe, Cornwall.
Description of the pub courtesy of the Rail Ale Trail website;
http://www.railaletrail.com/looe%20valley/plough.htm
This is a typical village pub featuring slate floors, beamed ceilings, settles and pews, and stoves, all creating a lovely ambience in which to enjoy Sharps Doom Bar, Sharps Coaster, Bass seasonal guest ale and locally produced Cider from Cornish Orchard Cider, Duloe. Certified Best Pub in the South West 2001 – Food & Tourism Award. Daily specials featuring fresh local fish. For a great feast try Steak on Hot Stones – cook your own steak to your liking.
I have provisionally booked a table for eight people, so get your names down fast, if we need more space I can up the numbers, but only if I know reasonably soon, ie the next couple of weeks!
If people want to meet up in a more obvious place (like Trerulefoot roundabout) and convoy across thats fine by me, I will lead you there, just remember I have nearly 2 tons of saloon car now, so it maybe at a sedate pace!!

Scooby is in this weeks autotrader, its still here at the moment, sparkling clean, 13 months MOT, 4 months tax, private plate included, knocklink as well, remapped by Mr Rawle, quickshift, water spray, adjustable diff, close ratio box, elect windows, air-con. Lovely grey version 5 type R, what other car can you get for 12.5k that is as fast as that! But I hope it is gone by december 11th, otherwise I can`t see me selling it before christmas, unless someone wants to buy a nice christmas pressie!
