Ok Guy's , After Gangsta & The rest of You Convinced me to go on track @ Brands . I've got the Bug !!

This really is a Great Track For Begginers or Advanced drivers like myself!!lol

The track is very safe with large grass Run off areas..

Honestly M8 ,I Had the time of my life @ Brands yesterday & the Car Handled Superb in damp conditions

Everybody i have talked to Has reccomended Bedford as the Ideal Starting Track

When we all attend a track Day's together , There is Such a Feeling of Respect for one another & Each others cars , You need not feel intimidated , Just enjoy the day @ your Own pace

Then once you feel good , Start the Four wheel Drifts!!

Tiny, very very tempted mate, could treat myself as this is 6 days after my birthday!!

But I would be a track virgin, so would anyone be able to give me an idea on costs.

a) what the actual day would cost, extra insurance any examples how much this costs?, do i need to buy slicks?

b) there was a second point but I just got a phone call and my sister is going into labour (not the political party) so I need to get off, any help in the cost department appreciated

As for additional costs

Insurance Edgar Lawerance will do you a quote I will sort a link for you latter

You don't need slicks

You will need to make sure that you are within the noise limits as failure to meet these will see you refused entry

the limits are

Static measured at .5m should not exceed 101dB(A)

Drive by from 20m should not exceed 86dB(A)


If you are unsure you can attend Beford at anytime before hand for them to test you

Most scooby exhausts Prodrive,Scoobysport will pass the test

However Firestorms and Blitz MAY fail

Putting back your standard exhaust for the event is always an option

Xtreme Scoobies will be in attendance who will be able to assist in this respect

Should you have any concerns in this respect please either drop me a mail or call me

Mark , Maybe worth a few of us Doing a recce to Bedford First to get our Noise levels checked , I know that Phil , Tuscan , John d all have Sound meters , But personnally i think that it would be best to go along to the track it self just to check

We were there Spectatinhg on Good friday , There were some Loud cars on there that day , So you never no

Anyway Xtreme / TSL Are there on the Day , Just perhaps need to book in advance , to get the back box changerd over if need be
