Hants convoy to Bolney 24/04/04
I know its been posted before but its disappeared so here goes again.Who is up for a convoy up to pease pottage services to meet up with the other areas convoys.I think they will be there from 10ish so we would aim to be there for 10 15 at the latest.I know it will be an early start but is anyone up for it or shall i carry the flag on my own
The portsmouth lot could meet at farlington services if its easier and the southampton lot can sort it between them.Just a thought.

I might well get up there - but won't be able to travel with you lot as I'll be in the Disco
Would make sense if the Southampton lot joined up with the Pompey lot as we'll have to head over that way as well
Just a quick message: DRIVE CAREFULLY! appart from not killing yourselves or others, there will be a ton of police cars around as this is a well publised event and there is always a police presence at this one.

No worries matey! Just thought I should put a note on the other one incase anyone had subscribed
Might get a lift if anyone's going up, but have a big "girls night out" on the Friday before so I thought I might be better off cruising up at 60 in the Disco rather than a Scoob lol!

Looking to meet at Farlington services for around 8 15-8 30 to leave at 8 45am,with the view to getting to pease pottage services for around 10 15am.Thinking of doing the A3,M25,M23 route as its most direct from Portsmouth unless anyone has a better more convenient route.I appreciate that some of the southampton lot may be coming so if you would prefer the M3 route thats cool by me.Main objective is to get to PP services to meet up with the other convoys so that we can all trundle down together.Any other thoughts or ideas feel free to voice them

If your going up the A3 would you like to join the surrey convoy ?
we are meeting in Guildford (which is on the A3) between 9-9.45 (leaving at 9.45)
we have about 15 cars so far so some more would be good.
Surrey to Bolney Pre Meet
If you want directions to the meeting point let me know

that was my general idea to get enough of us to meet up with the surrey lot and all convoy together. This is still the general idea but obviously ill have to see how many of the southampton lot are willing to meet at the A27 services at farlington or any other services on the A27/A3 for that matter.as im sure some of them may wish to go the M3 route instead. We will see.Look forward to seeing you all at guildford

Bolney is near Haywards heath, the M3 was suggested as an alternative route for the southampton lot.The idea is to meet at Pease Pottage services on the M23 and all go down together not to go straight to bolney. The A3,M25,M23 is the most direct route for Pease Pottage services. If youve got a better route to get us to PP for 10.30 then by almeans lead the convoy, but 10.30 is the very latest we can get to the services.

10.30 isn't the latest, but If we all aim for that time if one group gets caught in traffic or got their time estimate wrong then we have a little in hand
M/A27 and up the M23 is probably a simalar distance/time to M3-M25-M23
Mart, See my post to you on the Surrey convoy thread.

If there is a prefered route then we can by almeans do that ie A29/A24 etc.The meet up with the Surrey lot at Guildford was just a thought and doesnt need to happen if people would rather go straight to PP services,i just thought the A3,M25,M23 route is very easy and straight forward and less chance of losing ppl.A29/A24 is reknown for tractors and horses etc and could result in losing a few people but i'll leave it up to you.Remember folks 8.30 @ Farlington

Message from Daz : Lol @ Andy we wont lose anybody i promise
Steve, Farlington services is signposted from the A27 Just past portsmouth past the M275 junction.
When you turn off to Farlington follow the slip road down to the roundabout take the first exit and you will see the shell garage on your right.

If anyone fancies it we can go cross country a bit ie A3,A272 to Haywards Heath then up to pease pottage that way we could possibly meet up with ADP and crew assuming hes going that way .Has anyone got any preferences to which route we take,im more than happy to follow someone who knows where they are going
Andy, any chance of collecting my Dawes sometime this week or over the weekend as i think i might have sold it
cheers

Flaminsmart - thanks for the directions, I went that way last night so saw the signs / shell station I will meet you all there
I found the Bolney link on the S2000 boys site, and it seems that ADP is leaving later than us, as they are not meeting up at PP services before Bolney.
Cheers
Steve
