Poss Hartfield (East Sussex) meet?
Hi All,
I know there is a good East Sussex contingent our there and I've also been involved with the Grasshopper meet in Westerham (Kent - thanks Charlie WRXSTI) but a good pub where my missus used to work just over the border in Hartfield (Winnie the Pooh manor) has this afternoon offered their boozer as a potential location for a future meet (The Anchor).
The landlady is very car friendly (they had a Morgan meet down there today when we were in) and the car park can easily take 20+ cars plus there's loads of street parking.
So, anyone fancy it? Food is good, beer is cheaper than mosr pubs on Kent/Sussex borders (it's a Freehouse) and it's a pretty location (great for walks and great Scooby drives etc.)
If there's enough potential interest I'll arrange a date during March - please sign in:

Hi Steve,
Cheers for the reply - I agree - good 'neutral' ground! It's about 30mins from the south coast and about 25 mins from the M25 plus there's the infamous 'Hartfield to Groombridge' road which is a fantastic Scooby B Road (loads of twists, straights and echoey villages to cruise through!)
It'll be good to see you again (maybe even with the new Scoob???)
Cheers!

Hi Russ
In March, West Sussex meet will be Sun 7th, East Sussex meet (near Eastbourne) will likely be Sat 20th. We usually like to keep them two weeks apart, and one on Sat and one on Sun to cater for all. If you can avoid those dates, then I am sure some of us would like to join you.

Thanks for the info chaps - I'll certainly avoid those dates and will run any possible date past you and the Grasshopper lot before posting a definate day on here. It should really be billed as the 3 counties meet as Kent, Sussex and Surrey are all only minutes apart!
Cheers again!
Cheers again!

Russ, sounds good The Grasshopper meet is on the last Sunday of every month, I went to the Surrey meet for the first time yesterday and met a few more new faces.
Would definitely be good to have a "Tri-county" meet.
Hope to see you all there
