on sat 26th myself and spally went down to southend as the cars turned up so did the police but this time with a bbc camera crew in toll who filmed the cars going up and down the strip and interviewd some cruisers.as there was a camera crew some people started to play up by doing burnouts in the wet down by the casino.

we then moved along to bas and parked up along the drag strip there were a nice few cars down there and agian no1 was racing or driveing dangously at all.then all of a sudden 4 police cars 2 at each end block every one in the strip 2min later 4 riot vans turned up and the pigs i mean police poored out and slowly went car to car telling everyone to move of the site and the bbc just filmed it.

now my point it there was at least 50 coppers there and on a sat night that must be at least all the bas police force.so while they were telling us to move along and checking cars for stupid reasson what was going on else were.
1.people getting beat up after clubbing or pubbing
2.houses being robbed
3.cars being nicked
4.girls getting raped
all of the things above do happen so what the f..k are they wasteing there time with people like us not causeing a prob to anyone out the way of the public eye by being down the back of an industal estate and go find the real problems.

a.because there scared
b.because we are an easy target (get the hint coppers you will never stop curiseing)
c.just because there w..kers.

i say next time they move everyone off at bas go staright to lakeside pc world car park that will confuse them.

easy option GIVE THE CRUISERS SOMEWHERE TO PLAY ON PRIVATE LAND LIKE A UNUSED AREA OF SOUTHEND AIRPORT OR SOMETHING LIKE IT KEEP IT OF THE ROAD

NO ONE CAN STOP IT THEY WILL JUST FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE

It would probably be a cheaper option to install speed humps along this strip of road. They have done that in Bournemouth to stop the lads tearing round the cruise circuit.

With all your beautiful cars... you should be going real slow anyway so that people can admire them instead of seeing you wizz by

Better not talk too much about bodykits ... the police might deem them an environmental hazard and bring in some new law which means they can conviscate your car if more than 2.5% of your bumpers are non metal substances.

obviously the old bill down south have got nothing better to do that sit around in the cars, on roundabouts as well, trying to uphold the law!! What they should be doing is making their presence there be known and just sit back and make sure nothing serious happens. They should just let them that want to cruise get on with it,,,,what would they rather have them doing,.. doing ram raids?, pimping,? drug dealing? err i think not,... As far as i can see, as an outsider to this, is a group of people doing what they enjoy, it is not as though there are on the main streets, that would then be a bit different and surely the police would kick up,,But they are doing nothing wrong, yer perhaps speeding the odd occasion... burnouts, all good fun, they are doing it out of the way of the general public, so what harm is being done???
Our police let the lads on the motorbikes get on with it on the industrial estate at Brackmills. Last i heard the police used to go and watch, not do nothing else, just go and see what is happening. Some even would join in on their days off.!!!

Buy an old airfield.! Or go and see farmer palmer!! ...your'll find that the farmers own some these old airfields. that what it needs, I can't believe i was indoors before midnight on Saturday
