Hello everyone
Haven't been for a while so can't remember which Sunday of the month this is held on. It's nice to park up and admire some of the great cars that go.
Can anyone help with the date of the next one???
Thanks
Jo

Hiya Jo...havn't heard anything about a Pompey meet recently Not sure where the guys that normally organise it are, maybe see if they reply over the next couple of days and if they don't stick a thread up organising something? I know I'd be up for trundling along the motorway to Portsmouth
(btw, there is the Hants Treasure hunt and Pub meal coming up )

Thanks Jen
I was thinking more about the Pompey Cruise that used to be along the seafront at Southsea every 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month during the summer - custom cars, american cars etc. Thought maybe someone from around there would know if it still goes on. The www.pompeycruisers.com link is not there anymore so can't find out if it still takes place.
Will try to make one of your meets sometime but I'm up in North Hampshire and it's a long way to go from work to make one of your meets during the week (also have to find babysitters).

I've been to the cruise Jo mentions a few years back, and would love to go back as there were some superb cars there. I hope somebody can say whether it's still on or not as I'd definitely head back down to Southsea to see it again.

I've heard of it and seen that website (before it went to the world wide graveyard) - I work with someone who took photos for the website once. I think it's mostly custom cars but not sure if it's still happening? Would be interesting to find out.

ps I still think we need to have a 'Gunwharf Quays' meet, maybe we could get our own section of the car park - I think the Mini owners club did this recently.

Righty ho!
Ill stick me todger on the block.
Who out there, would be interested in going to Gunwharf keys for something to eat and maybe drink on say the last sunday of July?
It would be very imprez-ive to have all the local scoobs on show.
Lunch time sound OK? say 1 o clock.
Ive done my bit now someone else can take up the mantle, if we all do a litlle then it will be quite painless and no one gets lumbered as *organisor*.

Can't do the last Sunday of July - I'm going to some stupid treasure hunt thing that I can't get out of.
Sounds like a good idea in principal though, wouldn't fancy organising it though - good job Peanuts has volunteered!

Oh yeah, forgot the treasure hunt, last sunday is out.
Everybody who`s interested can post available dates, most available date gets picked. easy.
Nice of Jamie to volunteer to speak to gunwharf to arrange any parkng favours tho.
well done fella.
Peanuts....

lol @Andy and Jay.....but I agree with Andy Jen gets my vote
Its not your fault Jen....you're just a very good organiser.
How about the first sunday in August..weather should still be reasonable and we could cruise down to Southsea seafront for an ice cream

Andy - Nice stickers! I've just got a thumbs up, it sits on the drivers side in the bottom corner But then you should stick them wherever you fancy! lol
...and Oi you lot - I'm not even from Pompey (<phew> )although I would be up for ice cream on the Sunday 3rd (gonna need to get away from Family by then, little brothers getting married in the New Forest on the 2nd!), sounds good to me (although anything with Ice Cream sounds good to me ). Nice volunteer for organising there Rach

So where abouts in Portsmouth is the meet?
I have not seen many scoobies knocking around, except for a red 03 wrx with blacked out windows and a ppp.
If I am back from mountainbiking round kingley vale I will be there.
cheers
