Wrong post I know but I put it here as I dont want to broadcast it to the whole of southern england,
Wondered if any of the hants mob fancy the Southern tour on 31st August, we did the spring tour & it was a really good day out, you get 2 goes at each event so driver swaps are ok & their is no pressure as nothing is timed & its a large spread of different makes & models from really early minis to modern cars + a few real classics.
Theres already one scoob entered & a couple of Skuds.
take a look at the atatched

I have now sorted out the details for this event.
We will meet at the Tesco car park in Winchester, just off junction 9 of the M3,at 10am.I would like the treasure hunt to get away around 10:30 so we can get to the pub around mid-day.
The pub is the White horse at Priors dean near Petersfield. It is also known as the "pub with no name" for you local's who don't know where I am talking about .
Having spoke to the landlady we can use their overspill car park which can hold about 100 car's !!!!!!
It is only a field but no excuses for not having the room for us.
With the sort of numbers we are hoping to have we need to be at the pub by 12:30 and those that are eating need to order as they arrive. It may help matters if I can give them some idea before we arrive how many intend to eat.
By arriving at the pub around mid-day we will be able to have the full menu and not a short special one for us.
If you intend to be at the pub but not on the hunt please let me know.
This should be a day that will suit most of us so lets make it a BIG one.
Cheers Paul.

lol @ Paul forgetting the date!
...and you better not Jay - and if you do make sure someone has your mobile number
Certainly up for this, got a week-off (hopefully) before hand so I can build up my energy's
So far then...
Bad Bads
Rach and Mark (& other Landy friends? They could always start on the Saturday )
Andy
Gregk
Jay
Scooby-tc
Stoker and Lyn
kirascooby
uktony + Missus
Symon + Sam?
tbc?
Ron (and other Dorset lot?)
Dyney (and other Sussex lot?)
dnb (and other overseas people?!)
Mart360
...where's the rest of the Hants Crew then? We could have a "County Championship" to see which county could get the most points! That would be good...take the top scoring "X" many people from each county to see who wins... Although we know the Hants Crew will easily wipe the floor with any challengers

Dont know costs yet, try going to contacts or home & mailing Simon.
The last one was I think £160 but a brilliant day out.
One guy came in an old MG Saloon, I guess 50,s or 60's (like the police use in the black & white films) but with an engine out of a mid 90's German works mercedes touring car but std wheels, cant work out why it kept spinning !!

Bttt for the others - btw, anyone want a SN Green smilie sticker? ()Just changed mine for a blue thumbs up one! If not, I'll chuck it away

Mart - Look forward to meeting you How come your Scoob is invisible? Mine was for a while, no-one waved - same for someone else who used to come to hte meets (then had to move) we decided it was a MY98 thing
Rach - lol, Gunna already driving you mad?! Mad dog Oh well, at least you've got leave soon You can always come and annoy us if you're lonely, we could watch a film or something
We are well - a bit tired! Been doing lots of running around for my little brothers wedding <yawn> and works been manic Made a Hantsscoobies flag for the flag pole though! Just got to put the SIDC logo on it, but I can do that later

Due to the pressures of the dreaded DIY I am going to cancel the Treasure hunt
If the majority are still up for just a pub meet I will not cancel that bit of the day.
Sorry folks but something had to give.
Paul.

No problem Paul - DIY is a killer lol! (btw, my spare room needs painting if you fancy sorting it )
Well, we've got 2 weeks 'till the date and I've got 4 spare evenings this week (the beauty of not minding not painting the spare room ) so how about me and Chris look at sorting something? I know Chelle planned one of these for the Midlands, so I could always annoy her and patch something together from that? Probably won't be as good at Pauls, but should keep us busy for a Sunday morning? Let me know what you reckon
