Hey mart - not all off yet! I'm sure the pub will be fine for kids. i.e. it serves food and I would imagine would have outside tables? I'll check it out tomorrow
Ok - here's what we'll do, we've found some info on the web, we'll plan something roughly (Rach, thanks matey Will call on you if necessary, not worth spoiling it for you if we don't have to though ) and we can either use it next year or this if Paul's agreeable?

Don't worry about spoiling it for me Jen, helping you and Chris out might come in very handy for me on the day And don't forget who my navigator will be.......he used to doing things at landy speed not scooby speed so I shall need all the help I can get.

The pub has a large garden and plenty of parking for us if we need it.
If we are to have a pub meet don't forget we need to be there around 12 so we don't give the chef grief when ordering food !!!!!
Paul.

Andy - same as before 10:30 at Winnal (Junc.9 M3) and reaching the destination of the pub after the treasure hunt at 12ish. Anyone who's not up for the treasure hunt can meet us there
Ok? Right - so I'm off to the 272 to plan it today...ahh, the hardships, sunny day, excellent roads, Scooby with a full tank of fuel and I might just have to "try" the pub as well

Sorry Jen but you can count me out for the hunt. You are lucky to get me for the pub meet part of the day
The pub is not easy to find but well worth it when you do.
Look for the pub sign post with no sign in it

@ Paul
Found it, had a lovely lunch (mmmm ) and some excellent roads Ian's right - only half a tank of petrol now, but I considered that pretty good going
Draft route planned, lots (and lots) of twisty's (TM Scoobynet) and some fantastic roads - had to come back as I don't have air con and it was just *too* hot (Chris was getting grumpy ) so I'll write the draft up tonight and we'll leave the checking and fine tuning to this week
Route should be about 1hour 1/2 long, there's questions in parts of it then gaps whilst you have long blasts along the A272 (passengers will need to keep their eyes open though ) and then off into the twisty's for some more questions/clues Should all lead to the pub where we can have some food/drink and a bit of socialising before heading home the quick way
I'll post another thread trying to get more of the southern lot who aren't going to JAE interested though

Ok - so we'll stick to the original plan - 10:30 start time for treasure hunt for the family's and anyone who's up for a laugh and we'll be at the pub about 12ish
...you'll still be *doing* the treasure hunt though Paul? Not wriggling out of that that easily
