Jen,

I'll be stood at the side of the road with you then !! I was intending to follow you and Chris as I have serious doubts over my co-drivers ability , fastest thing he's ever driven is a landy !! lol, he been out a bought a crash helmet though - I'm sure Mark's been winding him up about my driving

Hiya Iain,

I just e-mailed Scoobyduck The organisers are planning to get everyone off by 10, so they can get back and sort he BBQ etc. it's also a "be there 30 minutes before the start" <yawn>! so it looks like an early one. If it's any easier there's a travel lodge as we're leaving from that car park, the phone numbers 0870 1911558 and it's site 815, A36/A350 Bypass, Warminster - don't know if that will make the early start any easier?

I can let Rach know that you lot want the latest possible start times if I've got your real names I know Maffa and Markus aren't coming now, but I can pass any names of the guys to are on, or post 'em here so Rach can see!

Hope it's not a real problem for you guys, let us know if it is... - you could all stay at mine, but that would still be an hours drive in the morning!

Cool

Jen,

Car park is pretty big if IIRC. And the Little Chef opens at 0700 and is going to bring in extra staff so that if we want coffee etc we won't have to wait to long

So far there is about 40 cars and I think at least 12 of them are scoobs .

Rach,
Big thanks go to you and your Dad.
We should be leaving at 7 so will be there in time for the start
But I didn't fancy doing 100 miles then getting there to find we are next off for the 130 miles to Yeovil

Can't wait now, bring it on
Iain.

Excellent

One more thing Rach mentioned on Monday which may be of interest - along the 130 miles will be suggested stopping points if you fancy a break, one of which will be a "lunchtime stop" - there'll be an option to order bagettes (about £3 each or something...) at the start and the order will be rung through so we can pick them up enroute if we wish

...just thought if we're having an early start we probably would have got the munchies by then!

Looking forward to it

Dear all

I am in need of a favour

Basicaly we have a friend who wants to come with us, which a great BUT we are not going home on Sunday, sooooo we are looking for someone who is travelling to the London area on the Sunday and wouldn't mind giving our friend Ben a lift to somewhere where he can take the train home.

It doesn't have to be direct to London, if there would be a direct connection to central London.

Can anyone offer their services?????? Pleeeaseee?
Thank you all in advance.

Kate

Kate,

Somehow, someone, somewhere, - We'll get Ben to a station I'm sure. Don't take this as gospel but I think there is a station in Yeovil.
