...a little too much maybe! lol!
Great weekend, even battling up the M6 on Friday didn't spoil it, fantastic wedding - even met up with the Briskoda lot up there (Skoda owners club!) lol! Scooby was a little intimidated in the car park!
...oo, and check it out - Chris (and brother!) in a suit!
Hope all went well for you on Friday too
Anyway, enough of this! back on topic - anymore news?

Just received an e-mail from a lovely chap called Brian who is a Porsche Boxster S owner expressing interest in joining in the MENCAP Rally us Scooby owners are participating in this May
...the thing is, he sent another e-mail out... (bold added by me )
************************************
All,
The Hampshire Subaru owners are participating in a classic rally on Saturday
May 24th and they have thrown down the gauntlet to Porsche owners by trying
to outnumber us. The rally starts from Warminster and ends up 130 miles later
in Yeovil where there will be a bit of a party. The beneficiary of all this
fun is an extremely worthy charity, Mencap. Entry is an extremely reasonable
£25 plus whatever extra dosh you can find down the back of your sofa or has
fallen under the seat of your Porker. The thought of such an excellent event
being dominated by a load of Japanese cars and their shandy drinking drivers
is too much to contemplate so pick up an entry form at............
www.hantsscoobies.plus.com/MENCAP.html
This event will be an excellent opportunity to try out your camping gear
ahead of the annual Le Mans pilgrimage.
Hope to see you there.
Brian F.

So c'mon! lol! The info. is at hantsscoobies link above or http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=190754
Already got a good number but need mooooooooooore!

Hi All,
I've posted the email on the Boxster owners forum and the Porsche Le Mans tour forum so hopefully we'll get a few more punters with flat 6's. Mind you, some of them don't have radiators which is a bit wierd.
I will admit to liking Scoobies ever since Stormy took me out in his first Impreza. I needed a teaspoon to put my eyeballs back in.
happy motoring

Anytime ! I know a couple of MG owners who will hopefully apply. Their engines have their cylinders arranged vertically in a straight line, shame. At least they don't have front wheel drive !
There is one caveat in that all non-Scoobie owners are exempt from the "who's got the biggest spoiler" competition or the "who's boot logo is followed by the greatest number of letters drawn at random from the scrabble bag" contest.
Are any of you lot going to Le Mans this year ?
happy driving

Ok, ok - you can be exempt from those competitions as long as all Scooby owners are exempt from the "who has the most hair products in thier car" competition
We're not going to Le Mans this year - I'm trying to save up for the Swedish Rally... Sure they'll be some Scoobies making the trip though
Jen
P.S. I'd loose the spoiler one anyway - I have a stealth Scooby

Jen,
Having spoken to mission control, Dad *reckons* he's had 11 entries from the Porsche Crew or he could just be trying to stir up more 'friendly fire' !!
Andy,
Sorry but Mark won't be with me tomorrow night as he's working lates for the next couple of weeks.
See ya all tomorrow !!
P.s
Bring pens with you so that you can all fill out your Mencap entry forms and then I can deliver them at the weekend saving you the postage

Kate,
Thanks for the interest. No additional insurance required as its not a timed event just a nice gentle () drive through the Wiltshire/Somerset countryside with a good party at the end of it !!
See you there
Rach

Hi Kate, it shouldn't affect your insurance as it's just a scenic A and B road drive from Warminster to Yeovil The event isn't timed and it's not a race so rally may be a little misleading

Apparently, so far there are 6 scoobies entered and 7, yes 7 Evo's!!
Come on guys - few more scoobs please.....
Other stuff includes a few Porche things, E type Jag, other oldish stuff that I can't remember and loads of Morgans. Lots of variety
Keep those entry forms coming guys...

Jen,
Currently here in Somerset at Mission Control !!
Plans going well and its nice to see another scoob joining us, lets see if we can have more scoobs than evo's now
We'll have to work on the Dorset crew when we meet up on the 15th May.
