PS Chris had his hire car delivered yesterday -Brand new Jaguar X type! As he's off work badly injured from the crash (sore thumb!) he went shopping for us at Tesco's in it - something he would NEVER have done in the STi7 My daughter Jennie, reckons at my age it's the sort of car I should be driving - cheeky cow!

Loved the STI big time, but after another test drive I felt that the WRX would be easier to live with as an everyday car.
Unfortunatley will not be out for a curry on saturday as our babysitters have prior arrangements (the cheek of it).

Yeah I'm still coming, baby sitter arranged, just need to clean the car, wife decided to take drive it thought the lanes the other day, looked more like she has rallied it across a field. Oh well see you guys Monday

I have to take the night off work but the weather seems good so i dont mind too much. Car park can get quite busy about 7.00pm so bear this in mind if you want a decent parking space.

Thanks for everyone for turning up, especially Mark & Rob who bought me a drink (as I left me cash at home). See you next week at the Plough & Sail.
Sorry I had to leave early but better half needed to go to late night chemist for kids.
If everyone agrees how about we try a pub a bit further out(not too far though), so we can have a bit of a run, for the next one.

A good turnout i thought for such a local meet !!
Sounds a good idea to arrange another one a bit further out, give the cars a bit of a chance to warm up ....nudge nudge, wink wink.
Any ideas for where? One suggestion was the jobbers rest......

How about arraning the third monday in every month to have this local meet with a venue change each time....
21st April - Bank Hoiday so move to the 28th
19th May
16th June
21th July
18th August
etc
