Or Even a Big-One !!!!!

Easter Bank Holiday Monday at Lydden Race Circuit, just north of Dover/Folkstone.

It's a round of the British Rallycross Championchips, so plenty of action without the crowds/parking restriction and paddock restrictions associated with the other venues......

Will be in Dover with the out-laws Easter Sun/Mon so will try and convince them that they all want to go to Lydden, so the Clio may put in an appearance.

IMHO Lydden is much better than Brands... cheaper, better viewing as can see the whole track and the paddock is open house....

Scott

Hopefully we can make this one. What time do you envisage we get there? (Did you really change your car? We've not seen it yet!!!)

We will probably aim to get there for late morning / lunch time, as from memory I don't think things really get going until about 11:30.

Will have to have a look in next wednesdays motosport news to see if they have any times.

Up for this if I can come back early from weekend away.
Can you still park on the grass on the hill?

I normally park in the bottom left corner, that way you can stand on the 90 degree corner, before the climb up to the hairpin.

On the couple of times i have gone to watch bike racing there, we stand after the hairpin, halfway down the straight on the hill. That way you can see most of the circuit. But you cant park that close, you have to get to it via the paddock.

I normally stand at the top hairpin on the banking and can see all the circuit from there...........of course if it is pi**ing down may revert to the confines of the car

I'll be up for that, with the mini-Hols!.

Last time I was there I upset Tiff Needell by asking him why he crashes so much

I will be aiming to arrive at about 11:30, and will try to park down in the bottom left hand corner (90 Degree Corner before the climb up to the hairpin).

I'm taking the old folks with me aswell, so will hopefully meet you there....

LOL Scott

Not sure how to edit, and not sure it's worth it, but for the record, it's MY00 ! (as for every mod TSL can provide, there's still a few more planned...but may take a while as involve more money than I have spare !).

Looking forward to it...will be meeting my father there...but not sure a matchbox car (sorry, Mazda 323) will fit in the corner with us !!

LOL, and you now need to edit to spell editted correctly

Have checked the website from your link (on page 1) and practise is from 9, racing from 10, so will aim to be there for the start. "unfortunately" I am now taking my father, so half the fun of going has been stripped from me...will have to be very gentle with him (18"s plus coil overs plus father with bad back ! )
