The time has almost come for the Hants Scoobies Christmas Party

Had all the money appart from Steve/Lisa and £20 remaining from Paul...
WE HAVE ONE PLACE LEFT! Jamie is unable to make it as he's off galavanting in Amsterdam THEREFORE!!!! We need to fill his place as he has potentially lost his £25 So, if anyone has any friends who might fancy a night with us, the price is £25 per person or £35 with food, for fun, laughs, hats, games and music Oh, and of course excellent company ..and of course if anyone else fancies coming along, I think they still have limited space available, so let me know asap... jen@hantsscoobies.plus.com
Really looking forward to it
Thanks
Jen

Since I agreed to come, I've been made jobless. Don't panic, I'm still coming having paid and probably will be in need of a break. Does anyone know of a cheap b&b for the night (£20?) - it's that, or I don't drink (argh no!), or sleep in the Scooby (not to be advised), or train/bus it down there. Don't know anyone well enough to ask if I can borrow floor space to kip on.
Will probably end up training it otherwise.
Definitely advise against sleeping in a car by the way, particularly if you aren't prepared - gets very cold, pretty uncomfortable too (forgot my keys once and couldn't wake my flatmate early one morning, was too polite to go wake anyone else up I knew). Just trust me, don't do it.

Hiya Breezer
Glad you're still coming, Chris had mentioned you'd had job problems Hope it all cheers up soon
We've got a spare room if you want, I'll probably be driving the Corsa in (havn't been able to drink properly since a Bastketball end of season celebration involving beer, larger and tequilla ), or we'll get a taxi or something - so you could always drop the car of at ours and go into S'ton with us? Only potential problem would be if you don't like/are allergic to cats! We have 5...(well, they were all homeless? What can you do?! ) But if you're ok with cats and having a computer on in your room (Chris refuses to turn it off!) than you're more than welcome to stay with us
Drop me an e-mail if you don't get a better offer! jenny.mawer@eastleigh.gov.uk or jen@hantsscoobies.plus.com
Jen
P.S. The car will be fine too - we have plenty of drive space and I left the corsa there unlocked with my wallet on the seat the other night! Silly me, but still, nothing was stolen, and it's not quite as bad as my Mum who did that as *well* as leaving the handbrake off! ....

Andy, the place is still available if you havn't changed your mind It's £25 for the nights entertainment and for an extra tenner you can have food when we get there.
Let me know for definate and you can either give the money directly to Jamie (who'll now be a very happy bunny! ) or to me and I can arrange getting it to him
....oh, and I'm think up a witty comment for the other thread

Jen,
Goon reckons he will be up for the meet on Monday you could try and sell it to him
Mark and I will see you on the Friday night as we won't be able to make the meet - he is quite sick with this gastro thing and I've got to be in Birmingham Monday and Tuesday.
Have a good meet and we'll see everyone on Friday.
