Simmo,
According to my Shell book there's a couple of places round your way that sell Optimax, which is the same octane rating (or greater) than SUL. These are:
- Chippnham Motors Ltd, Bristol Rd, Chippenham.
- Westaways Garage, A368 Marksbury,Bath.
IIRC last time I was down there the Texaco at Chippenham sold unleaded.

Got home on fumes this evening as i thought the local esso sold it but no.so put just a fiver of normal ul in.
Will try to find the one in chippers tmw.

Nice queue for the Optimax Pump
One Scoob pulling away from garage one in the Queue in front of me.
When i said to cashier you got quite a popular forecourt here. She said " I haven't really noticed".

Shell garage on the A46 heading into bath (pennsylvania) sells optimax and is very cheap.. may come in handy. The shell garage at marksbury is 3 miles up the road from me and has 5 optimax pumps...so far I am the only scoobie there....
