Way before apple reduced handsets to monochrome slabs mobiles had some sense style. , post up yours . I'll start

That's probably one of the coolest phones I've had over the years.
Have to say I think the death of the keyboard is what neutered phone styling, rather than the rise of he iPhone. Shoe horning a keypad in has made for some pretty cool designs over the years.

Has to be said I'd love a modernised 3310 (or even better an 8210). Keep the same base design and add; waterproofing, a decent camera and a minimalist operating system (keeping the bare essentials like a decent calendar and web browser but any other app needs to be downloaded seperately rather than being pre installed).

Best thing would be as you quote and just shove a small tablet in your pocket for everything else.
Reality is,smart phones are just too small for what they try to do in addition to being a telephone

Nah that's not a good look, a full physical qwerty keyboard takes up far to much space on the handset (tbh I'm not a big fan of qwerty keyboards on phones end of).
