Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances I am forced to sell the Subaru.

Spec as follows:

MOT - 18th Jan 2016
Mileage - 89000 - Converted to KM @ 46226 miles or 74393km in 2007 - with certificate.

Graham Goode rebuild done in 2008 (approx. 25k on build) - it was run at standard power up until early last year when i had ESL + Remap done
I have literally done about 40 miles since the Twin Scroll was done
Cosworth forged H-beam rods
Nitrided version 9 crankshaft
Cosworth forged pistons
Cosworth tri-metal bearings
MLS steel head gaskets
GGR uprated oil pump
ESL, Anti Lag Launch Control
HDI FMIC
Deatchworks 740 Injectors
Walboro 255 fuel pump
NGK PFR7B plugs
SC42 Twin Scroll conversion
Full Decat 3" Cobra system, angled exit back box
TY754VBAAA gearbox + blast plates
Brand new CC Stage 2 clutch + Lightweight flywheel
Scooby Clinic 6 Pot big brake setup
2 Pot rears
P/Steering cooler delete
Aircon delete
CDF Lightweight pulleys
Rallytech Header tank + spacers
Crystal Headlights
TTRacing silicone coolant hoses
Blitz SUS Induction Kit
Viper Performance Turbo Inlet
Viper Performance Silicone intake pipe
RCM Trumpet with MAF delete
STI carbon strut brace
Rallytech tow hook
Rallytech Header tank + Genuine Cosworth 3 bar cap
Tim Boost guage - Lamco Boost guage will also come with car.
Original flare
OMP steering leather wheel with red stitching
NRG short hub + quick release snap off

Mapped by JGM (rip)
Tweaked by Duncan @ Racedynamix

Suspension Modifications:
Front Whiteline Top Mounts
Standard shocks with Tein S Springs.
Rear 22mm Whiteline anti-roll bar and wire type drop links.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Newage STI 17" alloys with brand new Toyo Proxes T1R

I have done the oil changes myself and since owning i have changed the oil every 3 months regardless of mileage.
There is service history with the car but it is not FULL.
I have the receipts of the rebuild from Graham Goode and also the Japanese Service history.
Cam belt was done in 2013 by Scoobytech @ 75k
API fitted the plugs and pulleys last year, and while there i got them to do a compression check which came back 10 bar all around which i was told is very good.

I have recently changed:

New Coil packs
New Coolant Temp Sensor
New Throttle body + TPS
New genuine Subaru O2 sensor (bosche)
New PCV Valve
New Walboro 255
New Rocker cover gaskets on both sides
New Crank Sensor
New Cam Sensor
New Genuine Subaru Boost solenoid
New genuine V3 STI leather gear ****
New set of STI floor mats - red stitching around edges to complement the other red stitched areas

The twin scroll + rocker gaskets were done by East Kent Subaru and since then it has pretty much stayed in storage.
I will be taking it to Matching Green in Harlow 5th July and that's the last time i will use it, then it will be in storage until sold.

On the 29th June I am having SW Autos fit the P1 gearbox and also the brand new CC stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel. They are also changing the rear main oil seal while its out. Box will have fresh Miller CRX 75w90 done at this time also, they are also putting in Redline Heavy Shock Proof.

The car will come with the following spares:
Original Gearbox
Original good condition gold sti wheel with Toyo Proxes T1Rs on
Original flat type rear spoiler
Original mats
Original Nardi STI steering wheel
Genuine Subaru Fuel pressure regulator - new

1 blue Subaru Oil Filter (new) - had this as a spare.
Turbo blanket
Carbon dipped Interior trim bits which i never fitted
Brand new genuine Knock Sensor
Pro Sport Oil Temp Guage
Pro Sport Oil Pressure Guage
Pod for Guages
Sender units etc for the guages
Varta Battery - new
Blox Red wheel nuts - new
Original 4 Pot brakes + rears.
Front Bumper bar - painted in rust proof black paint, i got this as the one on there is sagging slightly on the pass side

I am sad to have to sell but i have no choice.

I have not had it on a rolling road, but the P1 box should be able to take more that the 752 that's on there now.
The car is quite nippy.

Good body work with no rust on the arches, roof does have 1 small spot of rust in the middle. Also previously it looks as tho someone glued on wind defelctors then ripped them off which has marked the paint, been quoted 150 a side to repair.
Front bumper could do with a re spray.

Car available from 5th July - £5000 -

These are the only pics i have at the mo, will get more once car is out of storage on 29th

I know mate I was almost at the stage of getting in finished too, my next step was to get a full respray done to get it looking perfect.

Sadly my work are about to lose a huge contract which means my job will no longer be sustainable. Even tho they said there's nothing to worry about, i know too well how they operate. Even if i don't loose my job i'll still be £8k a year worse off
The newspaper industry is sadly a declining business.

I am changing to the P1 gearbox as this can take more power, around 400 if treated well

No worries mate, we distribute newspapers and magazines worldwide, therefore we concentrate on the logistics side of things and chartering aircrafts. We forward for the Publishers of all main titles, as well as having our own agents abroad for firm sales.

We also supply all the forces with their newspapers, Bastion, Kabul etc. But as they have pretty much closed down Bastion there is only weekly titles now, the dailies have pretty much finished as far as newspapers are concerned.

When I was at Johnsons we had the contract for that sort of thing and when DN took us over a lot of Papers on Airlines went to them.....and finally when Smiths took us over I assume they had it all......been out of the trade for 5 years and still kinda miss it.....anyway good luck with the Job and I see you can hold onto the car so good luck there.....

Is that DN as in DNDS as owned by Menzies?

The Publishing business is good to get in to, and the pay is pretty good too, sadly technology is the biggest competitor for the industry, as the technology (Ipads etc) has become more affordable, the sales of newspapers in general has dropped big time. Only time will tell how long the industry will last, I'm praying long enough for me to get a decent earning out of it.

If we get any jobs opening up i'll give you a shout

I think I may have been to hasty in putting the car up for sale, so may as well hang on to it until I really know what's happening for sure and then make a decision

Deposit taken and is getting collected on Sunday

I made the decision to sell as I just wasn't using it. After spending buckets of cash on it I couldn't really justify having it because it just never gets used. I've done about 300miles in it in 12months and the rest of the time it stays in storage, which is costing me a fortune every month. The car deserves to be looked after by someone with the time and space, something I don't have at the mo

I hope the new owner looks after it properly and doesn't thrash the **** off it, but seeing as one of his questions was about taking it to 500bhp I sadly think it wont be. It doesn't need any more power it's setup perfectly as is, but hey ho some people want the bragging rights I guess.

Thanks to everyone on here for all the help. Scoobynet is a massively resourceful place which has been so useful to me over the short time I've had the Impreza.

I'm sure I will return at some point, but for now my days of spending money on cars is over.
Hopefully getting a mk1 Leon fr+ tdi soon, nothing exciting but I love them lol
