May be, people are jealous of his game. or may be, he has acted too smart for his own good, sometimes? Like being too smug, cocky, cheeky, big mouth etc.?

People used to hate Lewis Hamilton for those reasons, didn't they? Now that man still looks like a child. Never ages, him.

Bale can be as smug, cocky, cheeky and big mouthed as he likes (I don't agree he is by the way) and if he gets the job done it's all forgiven. If you're Welsh that is!

That's it, tbh. He's a good player for sure. Runs really fast, bends the football well and doesn't get so tired. I've also noticed that he gets hurt but doesn't prolong the drama. He bounces back and starts running around like a headless chicken; in a good way, I mean.

I had cable nearby for several years then finally cracked, had it connected and have never regretted it. WiFi, cable tv and landline all for a few quid a month. Monster speed WiFi makes it all worthwhile and the tv never fails.

We had virgin in our last house, I do miss it because the best speed I can get here is 32mb. Using the fibre cable running to this house, Gigler offer 1 gigabit download and 500 megabit upload but it's £50 a month for their best package!

Mine's Virgin but it's about half that price (I think: I'll check) Brilliant online gaming too, if you're into that sort of thing and of course never affected by dodgy sunspots a la satellite.

Steffi Graf used to do it for me back in the day. Lord knows why, she wasn't particularly pretty but there was just something about her.

^^^ They used to show it late at night back in the 90s (or early 2000s). ITV or C4 I think.

But the best, though, was all-female mud wrestling! Some interesting, ahem, views on offer.

During the England-Iceland match, my one 70 YO neighbour Mrs. J. commented on Facebook; obviously aiming at our England players: "...playing like girls now....". I found it rather insulting for the girls, but it made me laugh nonetheless.

I can believe that.

To find a half tidy male, you're talking 1 in 500 chances for that. That's if you're half lucky. But to find a half tidy female, you're fully guaranteeing 1 in 50 chances for that. No luck required, females are just better to look at, full stop.

Yes, I'm not kidding! Not an ageist area at all, my village. Everyone, regardless of their age, chats sh7t all day long on FB, although we all see one another face-to-face almost every damn day. I really do give up, man!
