That's good ours has the tein coilovers and the genome
Really surpised given how hard the ride was on my evo.unless im just use to it now but they did feel good.the weather was a bit crappy yesterday aswell but it ate the motorway up.ill still be looking for some whiteline goodies for it aswell.is your genome de-cat?
Not sure, I will ask them on Monday. What parts are you upgrading? (I will start a list) lol
Ive just bought all the hardware to do the nexus 7 install.next is a front splitter then some whiteline goodies i think.mine has allready been re-mapped etc so going to leave as is for now.it goes very well but im sure ill want a bit more power soon.possibly some darker wheels aswell.

Yep, as you say, I don't think the teins on it are anywhere near as harsh as some make out. Was mapped by TDR in Warwick, graph in the folder
Here you are mate.ive bought everything from ebay or amazon except the pod.i bought that off a forum member on facebook.reckon ive spent £100 on everything including the nexus.
No idea mate.i got lucky i think.£35 posted.£35 for a nexus 7 on ebay then just the various cables required.hopefully it will be pretty straightforward.
I already have a Samsung galaxy tab 4 installed in my dash!
Can use it for streaming spotify, youtube and more to the stereo. Works a treat.
The only issue I found is that the smaller 7.1" Samsung tablets like this don't run USB on the go, which means I can't use it to run the BTSSM app and connect it to my ECU how I wanted. I really wanted to turn it into an in-car dyno and data logging/gauge app, but just can't connect the galaxy to the ECU due to this. Very annoying. I believe the Nexus has USB-OTG so this should be possible.
That looks great.from reading that write up i believe it does work on the go and show live data etc.hopefully have sll the stuff delivered soon so i will let you know.
I may end up buying a nexus 7 too and swapping stereo locations so it's mounted in the top of the dash. Much better for the gauges in that location. For £35 that's a bargain!
I've already bought the KKL cable, OTG adaptors and BTSSM software, so seems a shame not to be able to use it.
Thats the plan mate.£35 for the pod off a forum and £35 for the nexus on ebay.got the rest of the stuff from amazon.the instsllation seems straight forward enough.i was reading the torque pro app needs an adjusment to get correct boost.something to do with altitude?
The torque pro app is ok, but not great. For £12.50 the BTSSM app is much better.
Also don't bother with the Bluetooth adaptor as the data transfer rate is very slow through Bluetooth. You're better off with a plugged in cable for data comms and the Forester for some reason doesn't work on standard ODB2 protocol. You'll need a KKL (VAG) cable with a USB-OTG adaptor to plug into the tablet. Using this you can fast capture data and even do your own dyno runs!
Cool ok mate.could you send me some links for recomended cable?your knowledge is greatly appreciated.bluetooth odb only cos £10 so wont lose any sleep over that.
Excellent.my pod has arrived now.just waiting on the rest.hopefully here by the weekend so i can have a go at installing it.i very nearly swapped my wheels for some xxr's earlier but the guy was very honest and said they are worth quite a bit.
Asked torque gt about the exhaust today and looks like it's just the back box. But I've found out that it's got a turbo timer and a defi boost gauge.
Sounds good.a turbo timer is not everybody's cup of tea tho.as for the bootliner have you tried the forester forum?also a page on facebook where i got my pod from called european subaru forester owners.or subaru forester spares.co.uk
