I have just bought a 2004 sti type uk. I am led to believe that they all had a tracker fitted from new. I have spoke to trackstar and they do not know the vehicle as ever being activated. Where would I find the tracker if it is fitted so I can get the serial number off it and get a subscription started up?

When I bought mine I rang Tracker and gave them the VIN and the told me the car had one fitted so I needed to register an account with them, which I did.

They also recommended I had the unit checked and serviced to ensure it was all ok.

When the engineer turned up he had a code which told him where in there car it was located .. Hour later he still had not found it, so fitted a new one.

arent they all fitted in the same place? i know the classics were cant see why they would of changed location
