Default Sigma woes....

Hi,

My only key fob for my 2001 WRX decided to stop working tonight. I had to call out the AA, we got into the car but of course the alarm went off. I don't have the PIN and neither does the previous owner. The only remedy we had was to disconnect the battery. This stopped the alarm from sounding(the backup battery must be drained), if I reconnect the battery tomorrow morning will the alarm start sounding off again? Or will the alarm have reset itself?

I'm going to try phoning Subaru tomorrow to see if they have a PIN on record for it, failing that I dunno what to do!

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Ian, thanks for that, tried it this morning, it did sound again like you say. I'm in central Scotland, thanks for the offer anyway.

I'd just like to say thanks to Mr Toad for helping me out with this. Despite being 300 odd miles away he's managed to get my car back up and running and I now have a working key fob.

Cheers,
Paul
