Pillar pod on 2005wrx =alarm sensor ??
Guys, planning on fitting a pillar pod on my 2005 blobeye been advised that the origional subaru alarm sensor is located within the pillar area and would have to be re located, not sure why it would have to be relocated ?? anyone confirm and advise if there is normally much spare wire within and where I would have to move the sensor to ie could it stay within the pillar area ??

easy to do just have to cut alarm sensor and replace higher up ,also have to lengthen wire with some alarm wire ,

Okay guys pod arrived today, first impressions seem good, fibreglass finish but will be having the flocked treatment so finally finish will be nice !!
the pillar supplied as newage fitment has a screw hole towards the top off the pillar but looking at my car - 2005 wrx there is no screw holding the pod in place- did some newage models have a screw holding the pillar in place ?? is there metal that I can screw into behind the pillar ??
