CAN YOU REMOVE THE IMMOBILISER TRANSPONDER

I have been having issues with my 1999 immobiliser when parking in certain areas. Is there any way to do away with the transponder unit ?

only to change your ecu!or glue the chip to the ign barrel...

ECU's are nothing to do with the immobiliser in a 99 car
