Hey Andy, I've just clicked with the username
Enjoying Scooby ownership?
Must be a fuse/connection issue then as I can hear the alarm clicking when arming/disarming but no lights flash

Hi blu-scoob, for many years now i have been fitting alarms and only work on jap stuff, over the past 5 years or so i have noticed that depending on who fitted the alarm (in-house or private company), some had everything wired in including fuses, and some were fitted so poorly i could bump start the car and drive off, as for your problem mate,
remove the lower panel above ur knee, have a look at the ignition loom there you should see where the fuses for the alarm should be, taped into it, there should be 2, 1 is a 5amp that is the power for the alarm the other should be 15 or 20, that is for the indicators, if there are no fuses, then the alarm box is a silver/gold looking item it will be screwed in the area of the fuse box or inside the metal brace the knee panel bolts too, follow the looms some will go to the ign loom and some will go down towards the kick panel, a bit of a mission but if you really need to know if there wired up or not arm the alarm wait 30 seconds and open the drivers door via turning the key in the lock, if they flash there wired up and it is down to the alarm if they don't flash then either the fuse has gone or there just not connected............hope this is understandable long day lol

Hey Mark,
I've found the main power connection on the back of the fusebox.
Is it the yellow wires from the Sigma alarm that trigger the indicators. If so one is connected to a black with a green tracer and the other to a green(?) with a black tracer. No fuse on either though.
Cheers Trev.

hadn't realised that the indicators had they're own supply, assumed (wrongly) they got input from the alarm. Anyhoos the fuse had blown, replaced it and bingo they now flash!!Cheers for your help

Check your fuse!! You need to remove the panel that sits under the steering column and trace the alarm wires back until you find a fuse holder with a 15amp fuse. Mine was taped to the loom behind the fuse box. If its blown, hopefully like me replacing it will sort the problem
