Disklok is the most popular with bbs members.

Have a look at the Stoplock Pro -
http://www.stoplock.co.uk/stoplock%20pro2.htm

In the 'What Car 'security tests, it lasted for the full five minutes (same
as the Disklock), but IMHO its far less cumbersome...

BTW, check prices before you buy, Argos was £15 cheaper than other places...

The trouble with the Stoplock is that the crims have access to the steering wheel rim, which they could saw to remove the lock!!!

I agree with Boomer, the stoplock is useless. A crim will just saw the steering wheel either side of the stoplock, undo the bolt holding the steering wheel and replace with a new steering wheel. Better to get something that completely covers the steering wheel.

Hmm, but how long would it take to saw through two sections of the steering wheel?

Surely it’s enough of a deterrent for them to move onto the next car?

Stoplock Pro worked for the previous owner when he had my Scoob (only a GL).
The scumbags had a go while it was parked outside his house. They had a go at the stoplock, but hit the horn while trying to get it off so alerted the bloke. They'd done a lot of damage and got away, but at least the car was still there.
I'm still considering upgrading to a Disklock though. Do you get anything off insurance for the Thatcham rating?
