Warning - Dead on the A1

I just had my UK300 die on me at Shell Wittering on the AI on Saturday. The nearby radio transmitter screwed up the imobiliser nicely thank you. As I am currently partially disabled (temporarily). Anyway, the nice Man from Mondial had to help me on my way - far enough to get the car away from the TX to get started . Anyone else suffered the same indignity of this crap. So much for Home Offcie Radio appro... The Mondial guy said he had a couple of Scoobies previously at this spot and a quite a few other makes.

I had the codes at home..... grrr! No one to get em for me. I thought I had this in my wallet but alas not! Now I have this in my limp brain... (Brake Neck comes from broken neck at Nurburgring last year on R1, I got braked off - Armco at 100mph really hurts, also affects your memory for numbers). OK! my fault really, but worth telling everyone else to TAKE THE NUMBERS WITH YOU :-) or push the car (not with knitting C1 tho!!)These tx units are a pain for a lot of people - dont we love out mobile phones eh?

The Shell at the Coppid Beach roundabout in Bracknell has the same problem if you stop at the wrong pump, radio transmitter screws it up - the garage are aware so usually don't mind helping you push the car to a place where it will start
