Exclamation CAT 2 Alarm on classic MY2000

i just got home Locked my car, got inside, my alarm started going off, went back outside checked all the doors bonnent and boot was all ok tryed again, Same, so i put my back seats down sat in the car shut all the doors again and my boot light stays on,

so every time i lock my car and the alarm comes on it just sounds stright away,

any help would be great

i cant get the boot light to go off at all, so i think the problem lays in the boot somewhere

try disconnecting the bonnet switch. it may be feeding back to the boot as some alarms run these on the same circuit.

when i had my springs Fitted, the fitter went though the black cable that runs down the side of the rear seats and he trapped it under the bracket which was shorting to the chassis making the light stay on all the time.
