Default Bugeye M30 sounder location

Hi guys, got a 2001 wrx bugeye with the you guessed it poor sigma m30, problem ive got is if i leave the car stood for 3 days and it then rains my sounder seems to 'short circuit' and go off all by itself, the alarm isnt actually going off as the hazards arent flashing, the engine runs and pressing the keypad doesnt affect the sounder. My question is can i somehow disconnect this bloody sounder until i can get my motor booked in to get sorted?
Cheers
