HELP, TOAD AI606 IS PLAYING UP !!!
I got a Toad AI606 fitted the other day and it has been working fine. Today however, good old me decides I want to set it to 'chirp' when I disarm/arm it, so I found the programming instructions online and proceded to attempt it.
I did my PIN number right and then went in to what I thought was the right setting and then got confused and am not sure what else was was happening. Anyway, left it and came in for dinner (still with no chirp) and my key fob working.
After dinner, I came out and tried to unlock it with the wifes key fob and got nothing, great, I thought, not to worry though I had instructions on how to add key fobs. So I set about entering my PIN and 'computer said no !!' I tried around 7 times and my PIN is definately not working
WHAT HAVE I DONE ????
Please help, all I wanted was for my alarm to chirp!!

you numpty! you need to go into overide mode not sure of the exact secquence but it should be in the inctructions you get with the alarm it involves cycling the ign and pressing the button not the one on the remote the emergency one this should also be done with the doors closed as the alarm will think you are trying to steal the car! all programing should be done with the doors closed..rtfm slowly and then read it again before you try to do anything and as you have discovered its a bad idea to walk away before you have finnished it is actually quite straight forward but its a binary code and you must get the correct sequence or you may alter somthing you didnt want to it shouldnt be terminal though and im pretty sure you cant change the code as that is related to open and closed circuits on the board and its not got a very big brain a bit like you realy

If you don't think I have changed the PIN, what could I have done as the PIN number no longer works.
Thanks,
Ben

All sorted now, I tried around 80 different codes and luckily got it, I had changed the code, after all that, I went in to it and changed the settings I wanted aswell PIN number doesn't match the card at the mo but I will have a stab at changing it tommorow.
I am so relieved !!!
Oh and thanks for the comment above fella!

I have the TOAD AI606 too, the garage I got the car from didnt tell me anything about how it works.
Where do I download the guide from?
I changed the battery and since then it beeps 5 times when I arm it (was originally just one beep), Iv been told this is probably due to the alarm thinks the bonnet is open (i can undersatand this as with the bonnet closed it will still lift up a couple of mm).
Im guessing they programmed it to override this.
Also would like to change it from a beep to a chirp, would be better on the ears
