I changed my battery on my car as it was needing replaced.
At first there was no difference but later that day my alarm started beeping more when arming.
It used to beep once but now it beeps 5 times. It still beeps twice when disarming as it used to.
Its a Toad Category 1, not sure exactly what type as I havent got the certificate (still waiting for it in the post).
Anyone any idea why this would have happened?

I did test the alarm and it still works the way it should, apart from the extra beeps.

 

mine used to bleep extra times when something was left open eg door or bonnet, check the bonnet switch is operating as im sure 5 bleeps was for the bonnet, hold the switch down manually and arm the alarm
