I've got my hands on a AI606 alarm/immobiliser and am happy with how to wire it up etc..
I'm just really stumped for a good spot to install the main alarm unit. It's much larger than the in car unit for the Serpi Star I ripped out as that unit had most of its electronics in the alarm housing under the bonnet.
I'm not interested in installing it for insurance purposes so it doesn't strictly have to be installed with the security screws but all the same i'd like it to be a little challenging to find.

If anyone's installed one on a newage and would like to offer me advice on good locations can you PM me, i'd prefer if people didn't post in reply in the interests of security.

 

After a bit of lateral thinking and some very useful help from an ex forum user i'm now sorted.
