Who supplies them and which ones are best - it's one of the things I wish Imprezas came with as standard. Deadlocks stopped my Corsa getting broken into and stuff nicked from several months ago despite a bit of an attempt pulling the door open and bending the top of the doorframe (still cost a bit to put right). That and the alarm probably scared them off/made them give up.

SPAL make aftermarket deadlocks...
...however, I've seen a door peeled back with a crowbar to get into a car with deadlocks fitted. Not nice, much damage.
But, I guess it will prevent the easy option of opening doors after smashing a window.
You can probably tell that I'm in two minds about this

Exactly what happened to my maroon-coloured Corsa back at the end of September. The one you saw wasn't in Bath was it on a Saturday evening/Sunday morning? ;-)
[edited to add...]
At least nothing inside got nicked (or the car), although nothing was on display and the glovebox was separately locked (for just such a situation). Woulda lost equipment worth what it cost to fix it probably o/wise (not the insurance-job proper fix but not worth claiming or spending more considering car value).

Is there such a thing as deadlocking the boot ?
Some people install some expensive equipment in the boot & it would be nice if deadlocks could be fitted as well.
I know that people use crow bars etc but deadlocks on the boot would probably help keep the equipment safe for a bit longer.
Andy.
