I have recently bought a 2002 Sti Type UK. This model is supposed to have a tracker fitted. Only there is no documentation to be found at all. I have phoned RAC Tracker people and they said to get back to subaru who said get back to Tracker people.

Somebody help??? Head is turned and i need it for insurance etc

 

If you phone Tracker and give them your car details they can tell you if the car has a tracker installed. But i dont know how RAC Trackstar works.

 

Call 01234 759502.
Give them your registration number, and they should be able to confirm tracker information.
You'll have to pay them cover anyway to have it reactivated with your details for insurance purposes.

Just call RAC Trackstar again - try 01234 759000. Hopefully you will get someone more helpful this time and if you explain that you have just purchased the car they should be able to help you. They might want the old owners information for security though.
