Question Sigma LED (f.a.o. Sigma Sam)

I'm fitting a dash pod and need to remove the LED from clock housing, as far as i can see the only way to get the LED out from the clock housing is to cut the cable, is this going to damage the alarm or LED ?(obviously not cutting both wires at the same time), or is there an easier way to do it?

You could unplug it at the ECU and fead it through, but to be honest cutting the wires individually will be the easiest option and allow you to extend the wires if need be for re-location. The wires are black and black/white - as long as they are connected the same there should be no issues.

This is exactly what I did this weekend - only snag was I damaged my LED and snapped the terminals off in the process!!! Be Careful with it!

Thanks Sam, just as i thought cutting will be the easiest option, but it didn't hurt to check with the expert
