Default Cliffnet wizard pro for G4

The version of the wizard I have, says error reading ECU type. Is this because it's now for the G5 ? (http://www.clifford.com/g5/wizard/default.asp)

Rather than the G4 that I have (Concept 300).

Anyone access to the "old" version ?

Should work fine, backwards compatible etc. Do you have any accessoris linked in, Intelistart etc? Try working of line and see if it picks up the alarm as your playing around. Are you using a USB-Serial adaptor as this can cause problems.

Not using USB, straight into the serial port of the machine. On start up the wizard see's that the machine is disarmed, and the ignition is on. Then after a minute or so it fails to read the ECU. Same happens if I plug the cable into the side of the control box, not linked thru what ever is in there at the moment.

I've read on one of the alarm forums that you need to reset the alarm to factory defaults to cure this. Will try that tonight.
