Does anyone know if I can cut and rejoin the wires on the Cobra 3000 series Emergency Override (Button and LED) as it was fitted by drilling a hole in the trim next to the clock on a MY 05 and I am fitting a set of Defi Gauges in place of this .
I know that it will disconnect from the main alarm unit but despite removing the lower dash and steering column trim I was unable to locate this and the wires disapear close the the steering into a taped mass of cable which I would rather not disturb!!

I phoned the very helpful chaps at Powerstation (who fitted the alarm ) and the answer was yes ......so I have and the problem was solved.
