Hi all, my clifford alarm concept 300 is very sensative and goes off often when a car drives past it quickly or too closly....

It happens especially if the car is going quickly, sounds stupid i know... i have had many cliffords in the past but not one this sensative, is there a away to turn the sensativity down or switch off sum sort of sensor like a shock one??

Have a look under the centre console somewhere, you should find the prox (assuming thats what is setting it off and not anything else), you should find a black box approx 1.5"x2", with Clifford Proximity Sensor IV written on it. In one corner is an adjuster pot. GENTLY turn anti-clockwise to decrease sensitivity.

 

or any clifford dealer should be able to adjust it in a matter of mins (usually easy access like wannab4 said centre console)
