Default Clifford Intelliguard 950 - Programming Options (Help)

Wondered if anyone could help - I finally got to have the alarm fitted yesterday (with the remote start, turbo timer and smart windows).

I've had a go at altering some of the programmable options on the alarm, but can't seem to manage it somehow!?!

I've entered my pin OK and gone into programming mode (with the LED staying on).

Say for example, I want to set it so that the doors lock with the ignition. According to the manual, I press the square button once, followed by 4 presses of the * button. Then, I press the arm/disarm button on the keyfob to cycle through the options...

In this example, when I press the key fob I get two chirps - meaning off (as it is). So, I keep pressing the key fob until I get one chirp (meaning lock with ignition).

I then turn the ignition off, get three chirps and it leaves programming mode.

When I turn the key though nothing happens - it's as though the changes I made havn't been saved. I'm probably missing something here... wondered if anyone could suggest what I'm doing wrong, or step by step how they do it...

(I've tried setting the chirps to on, but they remain on the default of quiet also...)

I have to admit I dont bother using the valet switch to program mine, found it rather annoying!

I just use the Data Cable and the Wizard software now.

Managed to get chirps working

Still can't get auto locking/unlocking to work though

I'll have to find a quiet spot to go and do some fiddling (must be annoying the neighbours by now with all the chirping)

I am sure the list is wrong for the current cliffords. Try doing it by the rule that 1 chirp is off, 2 is on, 3 is any third option.
