Lightbulb Trackers????

Hi,

I,ve had a good quote for insurance on a scooby, but they require me to have a tracker installed. Does anyone know much about them and what they cost?

Also does anyone know how much a cat 1 alarm + imob costs?

Thanks

Not really a radar detector, the "Safe Speed" option is a GPS based speed camera warning.

Thing is... doesn't that give away the fact that the car is equipped with a tracker the first time the theiving scum go past a gatso???

Cat1 alarm costs about £300.

Check you trackers, I've just had an RAC unit and only found it is was faulty when I'd crossed the channel and did not receive a call.

I rang them to be told I should block my car in until the unti can be configured correctly by the original installer.

How many other non working units are out there I wonder??
I wonder if the insurance companies are aware of this; afterall it's due to them that we have to have them fitted.

Worth checking cuz there are lots of cowboys fitting these. Ring Trackstar/Tracker they should run a test for you
