Default Standard immobiliser on MY2000

I have 2 ignition keys and two alarm key fobs for my car but only 1 key will start the car. Both alarm key fobs work. One key has not been programmed into the immobiliser or it has lost its code.
Does anybody know the procedure for adding keys back into the system?
I know it is a simple opperation on many aftermarket alarms but as the immobiliser is in the ECU (I think) is this a Subaru dealer only procedure?

Many thanks

Steve.

I'm sure it is an authorised Subaru dealer matter. They have to reprogramme keys/fobs but make sure you take all the key/fob sets you own along with you so that they can all be reprogrammed to the same code. In case they need the car there in order to check the car's immobiliser/alarm function/code. Phone your nearest dealer first and explain situation, so that they can tell you exactly what's required and when they can fit you in - that will save you any wasted journey.

the alarms fobs are working fine, but you can do these yourself if necessary. It sounds as if one key needs reprogramming, think this is a dealer only option.
