Clifford Concept 300 Fault codes
Hi guys
Have got a Concept 300 fitted to my car.
Recently, very occasionally and only in heavy rain, when arming the car I get 4 chirps (as if to tell me there is a door open or something). When I come back to the car and turn the ignition on I get 6 flashes of the LED.
The problem is, I have lost my manual for the car and so dont know what the 6 flashes means!!!
Could anyone please help me.
Also if anyone has a concept 300 manual and could scan me the important pages or type in the codes that would be fantastic!
My email address is martyn@jax2001.freeserve.co.uk
Thanks

Haven't checked the manual, 'cos I can't find it, but four chirps when arming is a door / bonnet / boot open, as you say. Mine used to do this (still does, I think, but I don't own the car anymore) after heavy rain or after a good wash. I put it down to a dodgy (bare) wire on either the bonnet or the boot switch that was shorting when wet. Works fine in the dry though, and the alarm will take note of the faulty switch so as not to give any flase alarms.
I'll have a root about for the manual and see what six flashes means...

Right...
Arm the car... 2 chirps
Then... if there's a 5 second delay before the 4 chirps it's a door / boot / bonnet open
or....... if there's a 10 second delay it's a sensor malfunction
six flashes = bonnet open / ajar
so... check the wiring for the bonnet switch, or the switch itself, could be a dodgy one. It may be possible to relocate it to a less exposed position.
Hope this helps

PS I downloaded the manual in PDF format. Have a search on Google for 'clifford alarm manual concept 300'

I will try that this weekend!
