yeah had one on one of my other car had it took of and it will cost you atleast £120 to get it put on your car and more for rewireing cos its a dif car also if he hasnt remove all the correct wire it could cost you way more than a new one, better of getting a new 300 for around £300 thats how much i paid for mine and they are pretty old now, great alarms thou.
