Has anybody fitted an anti-ram post? Or have any ideas which are best? I would prefer one that retracts into the ground.
Any help or recommendations would be great-Thanks

Jimmy,i have one that bolts into the ground and lays down when open as you have to dig one deep hole for the fully retractable version.

I dug a 3x2 hole and filled it with concrete, let it harden then bolted the post with anti vandal bolts straight to it.
Try, 'Driveway security services' do a search on the net,i got mine from them for about £100 all in.

Have a look at the autolok range www.autolok.co.uk, especially the anti ram raid one. Looked around the autolok factory (close to where I live) and the anti ram raid is very big, heavy and effective.
Could also try www.bulldog-security-products.co.uk.

Rhino security post are very effective as well - used at most garages but are generally twice the cost of everything else
