Could someone please tell me what type of tracker is fitted to a STi8 Type UK.

I know its RAC Trackstar but is it proactive i.e. are you contacted if the car is stolen.

Also is the RAC trackstar as good as its rivals, Tracker, Navtrack etc..

 

Someone must know.

Also any idea what the subs fees are?

Id say it would be the top of the range, ie the guardian, and the subs fees will be around 20 quid per month, plus 32 pounds per year for warranty.

Having just picked up my STI 8, I've been reading the manuals -

Yes the RAC trackstar IS proactive, i.e if the car is trailered away without the key they will inform you and the police

Price wise its £120 a year or £325 for life
