I think the possible cause of my start issues may be the cobra immobiliser...
i just did a goot 30 mile belt home and sat on the drive with the car ticking over, and then stopped... went to start it immidiatly and all i got was rapid clicking from the immobiliser relay / control box and total loss of electrics.. reset the immob and away it goes..
anyone got any ideas if they are repairable, or how much a replacement unit costs?? or can i get one from grade a or similar and what is it likly to cost... its just an immobiliser unit, not the alarm,, thats on another setup!!

It is probably an 0802 immobiliser, these having the entire internals in a potting compound to prevent tampering, but also prevents any possible repairs. A new one should cost £99 - £120 fitted.
