Where can I get a proximity alarm from??
#1
I've noticed people having a good look while the car is parked in the drive.
I would like to get a proxity alarm that beeps if you come near the car. I've heard that these are fairly cheap and easy to install.
Who sells them and how much???

Are you after a add-on? or a full alarm?
If you want a full alarm try here. http://www.microscan-car-alarms.co.uk/
Probably the best budget alarms you can buy.

I'd rather not give details about the alarm because some of my posts reveal who i am ('was it you' forum doesn't help!)
can i do work backwards and get a list of compatible devices? how much are these things? and can I switch it on and off? in a car park i would have it off and only on when the car is in the drive.

I can understand that. If you have a G4 Clifford then its easy. If not then your alarm just needs a neg armed output (most do) the only problem is the outer warning sound. Every dual zone microwave sensor I know of does not have a strong enough neg output to sound a sounder or switch a relay. So depending what alarm you got, its either gonna be v.easy or not really possible.
